PwC highlights investment opportunities in Nigeria, others

Professional services firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers, has called for further deepening of economic and trade relations between West Africa and Lebanon.

The firm made the call at a breakfast meeting it hosted recently for Lebanese business leaders, a statement by the PwC said.

The event which was put together by the PwC firms across West Africa in collaboration with the PwC in the Middle East was aimed at providing informed analyses of the political and socio-economic status of the region, with a view to highlighting the immense investment opportunities in the region.

Held in Beirut, Lebanon, the meeting provided a unique opportunity for networking between the business leaders and the contingent from the PwC, which included specialists in various arms of the firm, the statement added.

According to the Partner and Energy Leader at PwC Nigeria, Mr. Darrell McGraw, the economic indicators of West Africa make the region an attractive destination for investment from across the globe.

He urged Lebanese businesses to key into the investment opportunities.

McGraw said, “There is no shortage of superlatives to describe West Africa and the potential of her economy.”
