The much anticipated new ICT Computer Village, which has been relocated to Katangowa, along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Alimomosho Local Government, Lagos, will be flagged off in 2015 before May 29, 2015.
Jimmy Onyemenam, CEO, Bridgeways Limited, real estate developer handling contract of the new ICT market, said this recently in Lagos at a meeting/presentation with the stakeholders (heads of plaza) in the ICT Computer Village, in Ikeja.
The Lagos State government conceived the new ICT Village 11 years ago, during the administration of Bola Tunubu. The aim is to build a befitting market for computer village and afterwards, relocate the market from its present location at Ikeja.
At the forum, Onyemanam presented the master plan of the new buildings designed to world-class standard. He said the new computer village is designed to meet the expectation and comfort of all occupants who want to do business in the Emarket.
Presenting the facts and figures of the master plan of the market, he said “the N20 billion project has 15 hectares of land, which has been earmarked by the Lagos State government in the Alimosho Local Government Area.”
On completion, the new ICT Village will offer facilities such as exhibition hall, hotel, shopping plaza, industrial park, warehouses, and Kee klamps (small shopping shades). Other facilities are: a helipad, utilities, banking and food court.
