Moses rues loss to Arsenal, ready for new EPL season

Super Eagles forward, Victor Moses has played down Chelsea’s 4-1 loss to Arsenal in the Community Shield played at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Moses who gave Chelsea the lead in the 46th minute, shared his thoughts on the match that ended in penalty shootout after 90 minutes ended 1-1.

His team mates, Courtois and Alvaro Morata failed to convert their spot kicks.

The right wing-back while mourning his loss on his twitter handle, expressed confidence ahead of the 2017/2018 Premier League Season and conveyed his gratitude to Chelsea fans for their support.

‘’Not the ending we were hoping for yesterday in the end but we feel fit and ready for a big season ahead. Fans were amazing yesterday #CFC,’’  Moses wrote on his handle on Monday.

Moses,  would miss their Premier League opener against Burnley this weekend as a result of the red card he received in the final match of last season.

He netted his first competitive goal for the Premier League champions in nine months when he scored in the first minute of the second half, but their London opponents equalized with eight minutes remaining.
