
As part of the drive to fulfill his campaign promise to open up the State for investors, Governor Udom Emmanuel on Saturday approved the appointment of an 11-man technical committee on Foreign Direct Investments (FDI.)
The committee is headed by Mr. Gabriel Ukpeh an internationally celebrated auditor who is also a Partner and Risk Quality Leader for Africa at Price Water House Cooper (PWC).
Other members of the committee include: Mr. Offong Ambah, Dr. Elijah Akpan, Mr. Ini Urua, Mr. Akan Udofia, Mr. Andrew Jason, Mr. Udeme Ufot, Mrs. Offiong Ekanem Ejindu, Mr. Larry Esin and the Commissioner for Investments, Commerce and Industry.
While congratulating members of the committee on their appointment, Governor Emmanuel said he expected them to deploy their vast contacts within international financial and investment circles to attract investments to the state.
