The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) has pledged to collaborate with the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to improve transport logistics in the aviation sector of the national transport system.
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Yakubu Dati, General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.
The statement said that Prof. Kayode Oyesiku CILT Deputy National President made the pledge when he led members of the national executive on a visit to Mr Saleh Dunoma, FAAN Managing Director.
It said the delegation commended FAAN for its efficient service delivery at the airports and its commitment to the development of aviation sector of the nation’s economy.
“The institute expressed its readiness to collaborate with the authority to improve the country’s transport logistics, especially as it concerns aviation sub-sector of the national transport system.
The statement said the delegation also observed areas that could be improved upon with the enhanced partnership between the institute and FAAN.
It said that FAAN Managing Director commended the leadership of the institute for their commitment to the development of the aviation sector
