Nigeria international, Aaron Samuel has joined Russian club, PCF CSKA Moscow on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
The attacker joined from Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F.
Samuel spent part of the 2015/16 season on loan at CSKA and scored twice in five league appearances for the club.
He had now sealed a permanent deal at the club which will see him remain in Moscow until 2021.
“Aaron Olanare has joined #CSKA today on 4.5 year deal. Welcome back, Aaron!,” the club’s official Twitter account announced late on Saturday to herald the return of the 22-year-old who had been capped twice by Nigeria at senior level.
His agent, Atta Aneke, disclosed the big striker had now signed permanently from Chinese club Guanghzou R&F.
“Finally it’s a done deal!!! Aaron Samuel has signed a 4,5 year contract with CSKA Moscow joining them from Guangzhou RF in China. Fantastic day for all of us,” reported Atta on Facebook.
Samuel first joined CSKA on a loan deal, but could not make the deal permanent after he suffered a long-term knee injury in the Russian Cup final and had to be sidelined for about eight months.
The striker had since joined the rest of his teammates in Campoamor, Spain.He has previously played for Norwegian clubs Valeranga and Sarpsborg.
