Speaking at the draw, Skye Bank’s Head of Retail Banking Group, Nkolika Okoli, stated that the Reach for the Skye Millionaire Reward is designed as an incentive to encourage individuals in all income segments to cultivate the habit of saving.
Okoli stated that, “Skye Bank is not just encouraging customers to save by putting in place simple banking processes to ensure a positive customer experience across our channels, but we are also rewarding customers for doing this. Each month, three savings accounts holders will emerge as millionaires while 14 others will smile home with consolation prizes ranging from N250,000 to N100,000. The scheme has no duration; we would continue to reward customers as long as they keep saving. We are also willing to provide financial and business advisory for any winner who decides to start a small business with the winning money.”
While commending Skye Bank for displaying a high level of credibility and integrity in selecting the winners, the Zonal Coordinator, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Edo State, Mrs. Maureen Apata, urged other banks to emulate the bank.
