KELECHI Iheanacho has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to Manchester City over the course of the 2015- 2016 season, with the official website of the Citizens handing him three awards at their informal Alternative End of Season awards.
The Nigeria international picked up the Best Fluke Goal award for his strike against Swansea City in December. The ex-Golden Eaglets star was credited with the goal in added time after Yaya Toure’s curling effort deflected off him.
He was nominated for the Best Consolation Goal for his screamer against Southampton, but the award was eventually handed out to Sergio Aguero for his goal in the 4-1 loss to Liverpool.
