EBA award reason for improvement – PathCare

The Best Enterprise Achievement 2014 received by Nigerian diagnostic institution, PathCare Laboratories at The Europe Business Assembly (EBA) may be a perfect feat that caps ten years of existence for the service provider.

Excited as the institution’s management is, it has said it is rather a call to improve on their current rating.

The award, which was conferred on PathCare in Oxford, United Kingdom, comes as the company marks ten years of its corporate existence.

Presenting the award, the Director General, EBA, John Netting said that ‘The Best Enterprise Award’ project was established to present the best regional companies to the European Society.

He added that the award selection process was based on recommendations of the Europe Business Assembly partners, which includes the European Market Research Centre (Belgium), Baden-Vurtennberg Academy (Germany), the Institute of Quality Standards (Switzerland), and the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Moscow Russia) among others. The process also included data collection from national and international ratings and is supported by Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Bose Oladehin, who received the award on behalf of PathCare said, “We are honored to work in Nigeria and recognised on a global stage.”

Speaking further, Oladehin, who Human Resource Manager at PathCare said, “We are challenged at this time to increase our level of commitment to the healthcare system in Nigeria.”

PathCare Laboratory is reputed for being the first laboratory in West Africa to attain International Accreditation (ISO 15189). It currently offers the widest range of pathology tests, many of which were previously not available in the country. It has 16 locations in 9 states of Nigeria including Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Benin.
